Welcome!

  • We're a home educating family of six living in Maryland. Our style is Charlotte Mason and we love both the Ambleside and Sonlight curriculums, but we frequently wander from the main path to explore "rabbit trails." Here we share our days: home learning, living books, nature discoveries, and life with children.

What a great idea! I'm going to have to sit down with our little ones and make a "big fall list" too! And, happy birthday!!

That's a fantastic idea! We usually do a summer list, but not a fall one. I'll have to get right on that. Speaking of hawk watching, we just had to shoo away a hawk who was stalking our young hens....

We do two lists at the change of seasons - one to remind us what we want to do next time this one rolls around and one to remind us what we want to do with the new season.

So we've just put the summer '10 in the calendar pocket and made a list for fall 09. Start school was one, make apple sauce, eat chicken pie and gravy :) Love making lists.

Thanks for the idea. I think we'll create one too.
